Has anyone tried disabling graphics cards? If I disable both Nvidia and Intel internal graphics I'm wondering what my system is actually using? Seems more comfortable

It's using your Intel card without accelerated hardware support which means gaming, hardware decoding of video, etc. are all out.

If you disable Nvidia then the computer will only use Intel graphics, but the performance will be lower in gaming, video...
You may see in which cases (office work, reading/browsing, picture/video, gaming...) you feel more comfortable then you can find a way to still use your Nvidia card in some cases.
