I need a monitor for reading documents, coding, etc. Color accuracy and refresh rate is not important. My budget is about $300 USD. I'm looking for a flat 1080p VA panel monitor with no FRC. What's your recommendation?

Guys there's very few new ones on the market without FRC unfortunately for VA.

In the 22-24" size, which is what I assume people suffering from eye strain are going for, I've only seen some which are mainly Viewsonics like the VG2240 and I think VG2440 or 2448 or something similar which they label as "true 8 bit" and a few other models that might be sold in the US but not Canada. BenQ's newest VAs are no longer true 8 bit, they have FRC. The other ones like some from ASUS are mostly FRC or show as 8 bit on Displayspecs but on further research are really just FRC.

If anyone is aware of other models in this range for VA which don't have FRC then I'd love to know but I think they're mostly all 6 bit + FRC now.

I'm not sure if the VA2406-MH is being sold anywhere, same issue with the VA2415-H, Viewsonic do have some different ones like the VG2240 and 2440 I mentioned earlier which are.

For the LG 32" one, it does look like it's using FRC based on the LG page. The DisplaySpecifications page is not always accurate so sometimes have to dig around a bit further.
