I've found my issue. I'm not here to debate or challenge anyone's "remedy" for our issues. I just simply want to show those who might be interested what may actually be the problem.
Turns out, we are just not meant to look at screens. Natural, full spectrum sunlight is what we are meant to absorb, not the blue light we get from screens and other artificial light sources. I know others will challenge this - cognitive dissonance is real.
Take it or not. We aren't meant to look at screens. Watch this (watch past the first 5 mins which is just silly 70's stuff, until you get to the good stuff).

Don't really care about opinions unless you've watch the whole lot. I know what's worked for me. Screens are bad… full stop.
