Things you going to need: work computer/laptop and your personal laptop (the one that does not have give you eyestrain) if you don't have a personal laptop I recommend a latitude e7440 from 2015, you can buy them on eBay for $150. You are going to need windows 10 (I don't use Mac).

Now, on your work laptop you are going to connect wireless to your personal laptop, in order to project the display from your work laptop onto your own laptop/computer; tutorial on how to do it: https://youtu.be/w0ezPYmqink

If you have administration access to your work laptop you can also remote access to it, basically what we are doing is using a display that's comfortable to view a display that's uncomfortable.

Hope this help

Note* your eye may need a week to adjust (I did)

Every work laptop (or computer) I have ever used is WAY to locked down to allow anything like this. It would be far easier to just hook up an external monitor. However that is not a cure all, in my case the issue is how Windows 10 draws the display,it makes every monitor bad for me.

ensete maybe the upcoming 25" Eink monitors that don't have a light. Super expensive, but perhaps a solution.
