Before, years ago, white on screens looked white. For some reason, lately, I can't find true white anymore. All screens, from smartphones to laptops to monitors. All of them have some weird yellow/pink tint. Maybe I'm extremely unlucky but I tried many many devices. I read somewhere it is because of the red phosphor ksf used in new screens to implement wide gamuts. An exemple is iphones, iphones until the 8 had a white that was white, but since then it's not the case anymore. My previous msi laptops had perfect whites. My new one is fucking yellow or reddish. And yes, I did calibrate it as much as you can calibrate a laptop screen, and even if I put the color temp to 9300, the screen still looks super weird, and white is not white.
Anyway this annoys me greatly as I just want screens with real white, it's not much to ask. I don't have eye strain but it causes huge discomfort and some of them give me headaches and urge to not look at the screen.
Was curious if anyone else experienced the same with yellow/pink screens.
