So, with my last laptop, I never had problems. But for a year now, every new laptop or external monitor I tried messes up with my binocular vision. My right weaker eye visibly looks more tired and smaller after screen exposure. I also feel light headed and kind of drowsy. This is extremely annoying as I need a screen to work. My last laptop is not produced anymore.
I'm here to understand what is going on, what's the source of the problem so I can maybe find a suitable display for my eyes.
From what I understand, we still don't know the root causes. Some say it's dithering but there is no consensus. I find it incredible and sad that we still don't know what's the shit exactly. Is the problem within us, do we suffer from some disease or eye problem we are not aware of ?
Why does the weak eye suffer but my left eye seems ok after screen exposure ?
I am trying to look for answers here cause this is sickening that in 2021 we are not able to produce screens suitable for everyone. I don't think we are that of a minority. I see more and more people complaining about eye discomfort. More and more people wear glasses.
Sometimes i even get paranoid thinking manufacturers want to mess with our eyes and brains for some weird unknown reason.
Thanks for your help, my main question is : is the problem with the screens or do i have an eye disease i don't know about ?
