I’ve noticed my laptop doesn’t flicker when looked through on slow motion feature on iPhone camera. That seems a good way to check flicker- certain LEDs do.

However, when looked at simply through the normal photo camera setting- there are horizontal and diagnal lines that move across the page at slower speeds. What is this called pleased and are there settings to reduce this? It seems different to what I would call flicker.

What you describe sounds like flicker, but to be sure it would help if you could share a photo. Usually such cameras have a built-in feature that tries to filter out 100/120 Hz flicker.

I need a diff device to take a pic. Will try to send tomorrow.

It says it’s a flicker free screen certified. So strange. The worst thing is iris or screen shader don’t work- as soon as the screen is dimmed in that way, the effect comes back.
