- I love to do weight lifting! As soon as I sit down on a leg pressing machine and start doing it hard, it's just a matter of 15-30 seconds until I can feel my heart beating like crazy and blood flowing through all my body! It immediately clears any eye-strain I may have. It all makes sense because eye-straining is pretty much having your veins dilated, and as the heart tries hard to pump out blood it makes them constrict again.
But this will only work if you're not already in the middle of a full blown migraine, unfortunately. If you're already with those cluster headaches, doing any kind of physical exercise will actually make it worse 🙁
I referred weight lifting because it's fast, localized and gets the job done really fast, but any other kind of physical exercise should do the trick.
Aspirin seems to do wonders for me, but I've only started using it here and there in the last 2 months. No secondary effects as far as I can tell.
Doing eye exercises. Roll your eye balls around. Bully them around until you can feel them strain. Hold down a couple of seconds. Stop and find another position where they hurt again. Loop and repeat. After like 30-60s you'll see that you no longer have strained eyes! I haven't still investigated this very well, but this was a recent finding of mine.
As always, no two persons have the same symptoms / illnesses so this may very well not work as well for you as it does to me 🙁
