Will this finally solve our eye strain and headache issues?

Deepak changed the title to Do you have high hopes for the LG C2 OLED 42" this year? .

If they still use White OLED, then no.

Have you find any interesting info about the new 42” screen?

I have the 2021 LG G1 “OLED Evo” and I found this in the news - “Meanwhile, the hugely popular C range gets a brightness bump with the introduction of last year’s G1 Evo panel in the C2 models of 55-inches and above”. But I haven’t find anything about the panel in the 42”.

Since they aren’t likely changing their tech from WOLED, I have doubts I will be able to use it. Not to say this is definitively my issue but with the way the clear sub pixel works, I could see how it might be hard focusing on the screen.

Hi,

As someone who struggled with the CX (eye strain), I skipped the C1 hoping that the Evo panel on the C2 may be easier on the eyes. Has anyone who previously struggled with the CX or C1 already tried the new C2, in any size? I'd be curious to hear if the C2 OLED is worth trying. I'd personally go for 55" or 65".

Any C2 experiences would be an interesting read.

I couldn't find a separate topic on the G2 so just wanted to follow-up on this. I happened to have been in front of a G2 65" for an hour or so with no issues whatsoever. The CX, C2 and S95B all had to be returned. Does anyone have a positive experience with the G-series OLED's from LG? I'm trying to find out if it's worth giving this a go - my 4th attempt of the year.

Personally the more and more I learn, the more and more I have come to discover this is primarily a software issue, not a hardware one. So a monitor will not make any real difference

ensete so as I understand, you mean any LG monitor/tv you take, you will have always same problem because of the software ?
