Rather than being WRGB,
Here there is an all blue OLED panel,
And there are quantum dots to convert them to R and G.
So it is the closest approximation to a full RGB OLED panel.
I wonder if this might solve all our problems?

Trust me, I am praying this is going to answer our problems, but is there a basis for why this would be better? AFAIK OLED must use PWM?

Yes, anything OLED will flicker as it is an emissive display. Meaning the pixels produce the light, so every frame when the pixel updates it briefly turns off.

ryans If the clear sub pixel had anything to do with it, I hope these new Samsung units solve things. I believe my issue with LG OLED panels and I-devices are not related anymore which is a bummer.
