I was reading an article from IES that states the ranges of which highly troublesome flicker occurs. From 3-70Hz is the possible epilepsy range. Visual sensitivity is between 100-120Hz. 120Hz-40,000Hz is what they refer to as the chromatic effect range and could affect neural behaviors, but this range hasn't been studied as well.
This is such a large range of frequencies meaning there is a lot to test for if the bad frequencies can go as high as 40,000Hz.
I bring this up because I am in the middle of purchasing a flicker meter, but the software only shows flicker up to 250Hz. It is possible the company believes these are the troublesome ranges.
Has anyone done any research into this as well?
