Did anyone else try these glasses?

I have been trying the avulux for a couple of days now, and first impressions are quite positive. Usually I can use the gaming PC an hour before the migraine kicks in, with the avulux I'm up to 3 hours.
So it doesn't seem to solve the problem but it slows it down and alleviates it.

reaganry very interesting these lenses. there are two different kinds, fl-41 and fl-60. not sure it's helping with the computer but they massively tame the blinding LED headlights. highly recommend for that.

reaganry if your getting relief like that from those it might be worth looking into irlens syndrome. You have to go through their diagnostics but they custom fit you with color filter lenses. They figure out what colors make you feel good and which ones are triggers so they know what colors to stack up into your custom lenses.

Interesting to find people talking about Avulux helping with flicker over 4 years ago. I had a quick look at these filters and made a Reddit post on the topic after seeing similar reports of success on the PWM sub…

That they help seems to run exactly contrary to my hypothesis in my spectrometer megapost, that there's too little melanopic light from screens. Seeing as Avulux blocks out this wavelength (~480nm) even more, without any reported side effects. 🤔

Z3R0Gravitas Since I only have problems on computer monitors, I wonder if a screen protector can be made that blocks the same wavelengths that the Avulux lenses do?

maybe the green filter works , because green is the most natural occuring color and our eyes can cope best with that. just a guess. or it filters out the harsh spikes like ksf phosphors etc.?

i also notice not much green in human build environment. i really enjoy going into the woods and watch at green fields of treas and leafs. this green relaxes my eyes somehow.

maybe our eyes are also exhausted by the explosion of blue and red light coming with artificial lightning and human structure. who got green walls or anything green in their apartments? everything is white, greyish, sometimes beige or sand.

MagnuM That would be nice. But even getting the glasses is tricky and expensive, just to the UK. I doubt the company that owns the IP would licence or develop such filter sheets properly… Note that it wouldn't be like a coloured overlay, because Avulux appears fairly neutral in colour, right? (Surprising me.)
