  • Let's make a list of doctors/optometrists who helped you.

In order to have a "database" for other forum members to look through 🙂

Me:

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

  • Hristo Blagoev (optometrist). Was the first who diagnosed me with exophoria and prescribed me proper glasses (prismatic) which helped a lot.
  • Possibly Violeta Chernodrinska (ophthalmologist). I have high hopes for her - I have my initial appointment set for August 16 2022. Conducts proper visual therapy (in the style that helped our esteemed forum member @martin )

None of the specialists above were able to tell me why I get such extreme/unusual screenstrain.

I'm not sure it's a great idea to create a public black list. Maybe it would be acceptable with a different phrasing, such as "Doctors that are not xyz-aware", where xyz can be "light sensibility" or whatever we people have.

I would go further and not name any names, businesses maybe can be named without malice but individuals perhaps not.

I agree, because in some countries associating a name with a negative connotation can already be grounds for litigation.

HAL9000 Ok, good point as well. In fact, the "blacklist" part of this thread is not that important. Let's just post our "whitelists". I'll remove the negative part of my post.

seeker_of_no_light People generally criticize doctors on rating sites all the time and it's generally okay under freedom of speech. But as a moderator I concur with the decision not to project negativity towards this list.

Slacor changed the title to Let's make a list of doctors/optometrists who helped you. .
