I have replaced the digitizer screen to a very old ipad. With the original screen and digitizer it was unbearable to my eyes, after replacement it is comfortable to my eyes, screen is still the same no replacement. After digitizer replacement for some reason there is a small gap between backlight film and the digitizer that has the polarized film, also the colors look much more washed.
Anyone here have the opportunity to test this method on a screen? Add a small gap between backlight film and the polarized film? This may be technically difficult, but hope someone is able to test it and share the results.
