Well as I continue through this journey of mine I keep trying different potential solutions and keep track of what works and what doesn't. My latest computer monitor to give me issues is proving quite the challenge.
I have the same exact monitor on another computer with no problems. ook it up to my laptop, instant, severe eye strain. Both OS's and all visual settings are identical. Even the cables are the same. The only difference is the type of video card. So that must be doing something.
I disabled dithering using Ditherig, no help. I set brightness to 100% to disable any PWN, no help. I turned the blue to 0 in color settings, no help. Tried various refresh rate options, no help.
The pain I am experiencing is very similar to smartphone screens that trigger me. I have solved those through the use of screen protectors, which leads me to believe the source of the issue is not any aspect of the screen display itself, but something the screen is emitting that a screen protector can filter out. But what it is, I have no idea.
Any additional thoughts on what could be going on?
