So i tested it and to make it short: it uses high frequency flicker. I bought a flickermeter and it has some 300 nits spikes at 0/100 brightness and 8 nits of white. See picutre below. 8 nits in average with 300+nits Spikes! (edit: this is on 10/100 contrast setting)
Also measured the Dell S2421HGF, high frequency flicker, same thing. spikes up to 300-400 nits.
I also tested my benq ew3270u, no flicker, DC regulated light. Well to be more precise: "normal" DC flicker. It seems to be the only safe device i own.
I nearly kept this LG display. I had to keep reducing the light more and more, until after 1 week i stopped at 6 nits and still got nausea. This is a joke, people need such information before they waste all their time and money on such devices.
Well, at least i realized it, so i can return it now.
If someone has a question about the LG 24GL600F i can answer it, but for me these spikes are an eye killer.
Righ now i am furious, but i will measure the Eizo too but in a few days. I should have bought such a thing 4 months ago. Best investment of my life.
