ryans JTL Here are some screenshots. Bad I did not take some before the update. I think I did not want to think negative...
What do you mean with Google or Samsung, that those are the "insensitive" guys working on the OS? I am quite ignorant on the topic...is Android just the name of an OS or a company as well?
This is what I updated recently
My suspect is Android System WebView, but I did not use the phone in between the "1 week ago" and the "5 days ago" updates. You say apps cannot be the cause...what about Google and Google Chrome? Could not they mess around with the graphics?
When you guys talk about updating the OS, do you mean that can take place using something different from "Android System WebView"?
ryans If we're really lucky, maybe the newest yet-to-be-released Android P could resolve our problems, but there's nothing to suggest it will.
I doubt. Every time I mention my eyestrain issues to friends or at work or even within my family, people look at me like WTF are you saying? Go see an eye doctor, or they smile like I am crazy. I have never met anyone with similar problems in person.
I am more thinking of "downgrading". The question is what? Is it possible to talk to someone "behind" "Android System WebView"? I would start from that. But if you have input on Google or Google Chrome, touching an app rather than the OS should be less inconvenient, should not it? Especially since it was a sharp transition from no pain to eyestrain and it seems fairly trackable, I would really like to tackle this problem, at the cost of throwing the phone away...
PS: Is there a way of shrinking attached images?
