a few weeks ago i went to atleast two doctors both of which only ended up changing my prescription, because of astigmatism related focus problems and that didn't help with screens, so I know I'm having some sort of ledstrain and my prescription isn't at fault.

Since every screen gives me headaches and light sensitivity/photophobia it's causing problems for me, I cannot study, watch movies or game.. I've decided on moving on to projectors, I know that most projectors caused issues for people because of PWM, dithering etc..so what modern and cheap affordable projector would you recommend? any modern available Projector that was easier on your eyes, I can't find any older alternatives on the market, so I'm forced to buy modern ones, I'm not very tech savvy so I'd appreciate some recommendations and which projectors to avoid..and which ones helped lower your symptoms?

Update: still waiting for suggestions.

I had bought some cheap no name projector in the past (<100) it was so loud that you don't want to have it in your house. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HYX3LNH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had Nebula capsule 1 (300), ATM have Nebula Capsule 2 (450). Now I see Nebula Capsule 3 is out (too expencive)
I love the 2 that I don't plan to upgrade any time soon. It's a small portable projector (size of a can of coke), not loud, high quality. I can easy move it from the living room to the bedroom. Battery lasts 2+ h, has build in Android TV and Chromecast, so you don't even need a laptop can use it with phone or the remote. Even my wife loves it that at this point we do not own a TV 😃 We have this one 2+ years and it still seems like new.

For the same price you can definitely find static model with FHD resolution. This one is only HD (720p), but picture quality is good for us.

I do have some strain with it too (I tend to patch an eye when using it), however it's lot better than any TV I have used.

daniel_mate Thanks for the suggestions, too bad both of these are expensive as hell where I live, so I'm out of options, should I just look into LCD projectors specifically?

I found one good cheap projector however the backlight is LED, did the GooDee one have similar specs? I'm trying to be careful before buying a random projector.
