There's a constant push for monitors with faster pain rates, capable of firing smoother/painfuller animation. If 50 frames per second is already too smooth/painful for you, and already leaves you with motion sickness and/or migraines, then, well, that can be a problem.
The Hdmi 2.1a specification seems to push a range from 60 fps to 120 fps. I don't think it excludes monitors capable of lower frame rates, but I don't know for sure:
