Winapps or Cassowary?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried Winapps or Cassowary on Linux distro, to use Windows apps like MS Outlook?

They use RDP and a VM to virtualize Windows apps "seamlessly". I wonder if RDP does (or could) impact our migraine/dizziness/eyestrain here making it usable. Given there is no Internet for RDP to cross (the host + client both are localhost), the performance is probably pretty good.

Anyone ever try this?

I don't know about Linux RDP clients, but @Gurm seemed to imply attempting to view a "bad" Windows version on an older "good" Windows system could potentially pass through the eye strain.

Again, if is this is what happens it could also be potentially yet another avenue of research.
