Hi guys I have this problem: my laptop is the Asus Tuf F15 ( i5 11th, rtx 3050 + Uhd graphics) screen is 15.6" (Innolux N156HRA-EA1 (CMN1521).
Win 11 22h2 22621.521
Nvidia drivers 517.20
I don't notice issues viewing laptop's screen (I spent more time on external monitor), but when connected to external monitor I feel nausea.
My external monitor is the Asus MX259 that is incredible for every devices connected. No strain no nausea (PS4, Box Android) but If I connect the Asus Tuf I feel this nausea.
This Asus Tuf has 1 HDMI and 1 T4 type c.
I have 2 choices to connect this laptop to the external monitor.
- Hub connected from laptop (Thunderbolt Port) -Hdmi cable-to HDMI Port on monitor.
In this case I see Nvidia Control Panel with all options.
- Hdmi cable from HDMI Port (on laptop) to HDMI Port (on monitor)
In this case I can't see Nvidia Control Panel and to set brightness and contrast I need to use Intel Graphics Center.
Ditherig is only available when connected from HDMI to HDMI directly but banding on my wallpaper is visible on the 2 options so no dithering I suppose.
Nausea is still here in all 2 options but I suppose the second oprion is the best.
