caboy You are not imagining things. The same has happened to me. Unfortunately, I cannot get the laptop back to a good state anymore.
How do your roll back? For me, system recovery returns errors, maybe because, although I have admin privileges, some functionalities are inaccessible ("controlled by my organization"). I am left with continuously uninstalling updates via the Control Panel, but it does not help anymore. As said in other posts, this could be due to some updates being irreversible (service stacking). My fear, though, is that heaps of things get tweaked by a security update and not everything returns to the previous state upon a rollback. I am not a PC expert, perhaps you are. Have you checked on the list of programs affected by a system recovery? In my case, it is infinitely long and includes any sort of drivers. Perhaps graphics settings are affected as well and do not reset?
