For about a year now I've been using an OLED screen laptop. Recently I switched to one with an IPS display. It's a Tianma TL156VDXP01-01. I've been noticing eye strain, headaches, and a bit of motion sickness. My previous OLED laptop had a PWM frequency of 60 Hz which when reading about it says it can cause eye discomfort.
Suprisingly I rarely had issues when using my OLED laptop and my symptoms only appeared when switching to my new IPS display laptop. Could it be that my eyes are trying to get used to IPS or is this IPS screen the problem?
Also could some of you recommend which IPS laptop displays you feel comfortable using for long periods? Thanks.
