AlanSmith Not sure how this information applies to my post, but I respond anyway. It's no secret that Sun Vision Display is a subsidiary of New Vision Display and that their RLCD panels which allow better passage of light through the panel are manufactured in China.
To the last point, yeah, the panel that is used might have dithering, but since dithering is no issue to me (I'm only bothered by flickering light), it's ultimately of no concern to me. That's why you only see me posting in topics on this message board about devices which don't emit light (Eink, RLCD, etc.), topics on customizing off-the-shelf displays to being transparent, or topics which pertain to light flicker, since I can't add anything to the dithering topics anyway.
