My situation is that I have an old laptop (2012 Toshiba Satellite) that has a monitor that doesn't bother me, but whose processing speed is at times insufficient. I have a 2021 vintage HP laptop with a monitor that causes me dizziness, fatigue, and nausea.
I am now exploring using a monitor program on the 2012 unit and then using the HP device as a primary processor. The hope is that I'll get the monitor health of the old laptop coupled with the processing power of the newer computer.
I'd be interested learning about the experiences of anyone who's tried this approach. Any recommendations regarding any recommended software for use on the monitor-laptop and the primary-laptop would also be helpful.
