Hi,
I am looking for feedbacks from owners of Samsung QLED TVs or people who know the tech behind it. I didn't find a dedicated post so here it is.
I bought a 4K QLED TV in 2018 (model is QE49q6f). Although the image is beautiful and sharp, I never felt as comfortable as I was with my previous old glossy TFT LCD Samsung TV.
Here are a few frames of a recording I did last night with an iPhone in slow motion (240fps). We clearly see areas turning off and on, sometimes the screen is fully illuminated and sometimes all black. It doesn't look like PWM (it's not OLED) or DC Dimming.

(I cannot see the screen blinking with my own eyes. The blinking effect is clearly visible when recording a video with the iPhone at 60fps and faster)
Is it some sort of PWM for QLED TVs ? Is this pattern specific to QLED?
QLED doesn't handle brightness for individual LEDs, this probably explain why whole areas of the screen turn off. It looks like very fast fireworks happening just in front of us. Worst than OLED PWM?
Is someone experiencing fatigue with QLED TVs ? (I certainly do)
