Looks like even my cheap induction cooker uses an equivalent of PWM, when setting lower power it sort of oscillates between boiling the water and not doing so 🙂 Sorry for this post, I just had to vent after some unsuccessful attempts to get a new phone and a new laptop which wouldn't make my eyes fatigued.

    I hear you. Also the displays of appliances like pressure cookers, range hoods, and stoves often use PWM or similar flickering tech.
