Looking for some support if possible.

My iPad Gen 4 was running P 16 for along time without an issues. Stupidly decided to update to iOS 17 and kept updating without using the iPad for any real length of time.

It’s pretty much become usable for me, would this be due to temporal dithering? If some can you recommend how I could check it potentially fix?

Would case is I’ll just sell it.

Thanks in advance

CocoPlops I had to sell my 7th-gen iPad (which was previously usable) after upgrading it to iOS 17 for that very reason. Ultimately I bought an iPad Air 2 (maximum iPadOS 15), and lucked out because it needed a battery and Apple replaced the whole device for $99. That was a few months ago, and I think Apple has since stopped servicing that model (I wondered if their replacement iPads would end up in their refurbished store after that point, but I’m not sure). Unfortunately, your best bet may be to try to find a used device with iPadOS 16 or earlier on the secondhand market.

Appreciate the reply! Extremely frustrating they have the ability to ruin perfectly good devices
