Motion sickness on Mac, not on PC?

Hey all, first post.

I have this wierd problem where I get motion sickness while using a Mac Mini M1, but not on my PC - both using the same monitor and mouse (and keyboard).

The monitor is a 34" 3440x1440 Ultrawide IPS with 75Hz refresh.

The Mac Mini doesn't scale quite as well as the PC, so some of the text is a bit smaller than I'd like. I am also finding the mouse slightly more jerky on the Mac Mini.

It's deffo motion sickness I am getting. Anyone have any ideas?

MacOS is notorious for subpar handling of high polling rate (>125hz) peripherals, jerkyness of mouse is very apparent on it.
The fact you're using a ultrawide doesn't help either, as MacOS has specific PPI levels which it prefers compared to others.

Norog Only way to find out is to try out your monitor on a Windows or Linux computer and find out. It can contribute to overall feel.
75hz is too low of a refresh rate for the human eye, there's also that to consider...
