But every screen is making me dizzy except for my work laptop when it is plugged into the docking station with a generic Dell monitor.
Could you detail which screens have worked for you historically, with model name and perhaps specifications too? It would help out trying to form a recommendation.
Most eyestrain issues can be chased down to improper panel choice.
Given my recent experience with a KVM switch, and the fact you say your work laptop is better when docked, try getting a KVM switch and running your monitor through that.
So a few questions:
No one knows the answers to those questions, and they are different for different people. There is no "silver bullet" that will cure us, each individual needs to find a specific setup that works for them and then never change it.
I use an older Lenovo B50-80 on Windows 8.1 and no graphics card. Only system I know I can still use.
Try a BenQ low end monitor that only displays sRGB. No HDR etc…. I believe they use LG panels and not Samsung along with their own display tech. They are not super bright monitors allowing you to use them at or near full brightness without issue therefore using little to no additional flicker.
i got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C7V9N88P
Speaking of kvm switch^
Someone else I remember either posting here or on the telegram said a dell dock which has a HDMI port also made things more comfortable
