Perhaps this is not quite the answer to your question, but I want to share my experience using the Sony a7c on one of my trips.
A year ago, I owned a Sony a7c. From the first day of use, I felt eye strain. The camera's viewfinder had low resolution and was a bit blurry, which made my eyes strain when trying to focus on the image. Additionally, I noticed a strong moiré effect, which caused significant eye strain. Shooting through the IPS screen also led to problems for me. It's possible the IPS screen used PWM, as I saw flickering on some colors during slow-motion shooting on my phone. I sold this camera and bought a Canon R.
The viewfinder on the Canon R is much better; I still couldn't use it constantly, but the symptoms were not as severe as when using the Sony a7c viewfinder. The IPS screen on the Canon R doesn't have PWM, but it seems there is dithering because during prolonged photo and video shooting through it, I started to feel eye strain (but it is manageable, unlike what I experienced with the Sony a7c).
The Canon R will likely also be put up for sale due to dithering on the IPS screen. I will return to my old camera with an optical viewfinder.
