Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue: I have two laptops with identical graphics cards, operating systems and settings, but they have different displays. Both displays don’t use PWM at low frequencies. However, I find one of them much more comfortable to look at, with no discomfort (like eye strain or nausea), while the other one significantly reduces my comfort 🙁
I recorded a video with a 50x microscope of both displays.
In Video 1, which is from the display that's comfortable for me, you can see that the pixels, if they flicker at all, do so in a much calmer way: https://youtube.com/shorts/8v-i4U82IMk
In Video 2, the pixels on the display flicker at a much higher frequency. Is this temporal dithering? If not, what could be causing this effect? https://youtube.com/shorts/j_iwnrg6TrI
Thanks for any help!
