I grabbed a Remarkable 2 due to the Black Friday sales, I've wanted one for a while. Not sure if I would have been happier with a Boox (more functionality) or Scribe. But I can say this is COMFY, easy to use, great to write on, free from distractions. All the things they advertise. Is it worth $500? hard to say, I didn't pay nearly that much (scored a $350 deal). But for what I paid and the use I'm getting out of it so far, it's been GREAT.
There is no visible gap between pen and "paper", which is a highlight of the Remarkable versus its competition. Writing is fast enough (Boox/Scribe users say theirs is faster, but this is fast enough for me). OCR is slow, but functional.
