Talhalpern Do you think you have a flicker sensitivity, a light sensitivity, an animation sensitivity, or some combination?
I'm not sure what would help for flicker sensitivity.
I've found an Eizo monitor very helpful for light sensitivity. It does have pwm at low brightness, so I'd set it to 20% brightness and then use the gamma controls to further reduce brightness. I'm looking for a laptop that would be as good for light sensitivity.
MacOS has way too much animation these days. Haven't checked Widows, but I expect the same. I've started dual-booting Linux, and the Cinnamon desktop environment can block the most animation. Some of it is under "Effects" but the blinking cursors are under "Keyboard" in the settings. Unfortunately, inertial scrolling and bounce scrolling persist.
I hope at least some of this will help.
