I seam to be having problems on older lenovo when I install optional drivers from Windows 11, due to having some question marks in device manager even after full lenovo vantage install. But then when I uninstall display adaptor driver, it gets back to easy to the eyes. Now this might mean two things - either driver is crappy, or night shift mode is problematic, since when you uninstall driver, it automatically disables this feature. So not sure, its weird. I am only happy, there are options to make it more usable, just uninstall it, and it defaults to something that seams to be much better.
In terms of Windows 10, I would not be getting back there. It has its own UI issues that add up to the eyes strain. But, if you use external display, then I find windows 10 is actually better than Windows 11. Its weird. So, all in all, I would say, install everything as dual boot such as Windows 11 and Windows 10 on one machine. Or even better Linux too, making it trio boot. Then you would not need to switch back and forward. And these days SSDs are quite bit, on windows no need to pay apple premium for SSD size, so why not.
