I'm trying to make my M3 MBA look like my 2017 Macbook air as the newer one makes my eyes feel like they've been sprayed with acid and the old one was always fine. I've downloaded f.lux, Enabled Stillcolour to turn off dithering, turned off font smoothing, changed colour profile to RGB (and now Adobe RGB 1998) and I'm using night shift all the time. No difference. I saw a suggestion to download BetterDisplay which I have but there are so many options and I've no idea what to change. Would love some suggestions for a good setup that might get closer to my 2017 MBA - it seems much crisper with much greyer tones. Thanks
Best settings to make M3 Macbook Air eye friendly?

I'm curious who made the panel. Can you run this in Terminal and show the results?
ioreg -lw0 | grep -i 'raw-panel-serial-number'
ioreg -lw0 | grep "IODisplayEDID"
Also have you tried switching the color space to sRGB?

I get this "raw-panel-serial-number" = <"FP1344200ER25YTAX+5A2D390119A7JG+PROD+B340434123415+4834372N343721343724343720+PA26P0905Y41830907+6862A2324KJ8YL00A29JT3388A30L6272+S36P689V1AS36P689V1AS36P689V1AS36P689V">
Flipjango And yes, have tried sRGB. And various others. Makes no difference.
Can you try these commands?
system_profiler SPDisplaysDataType
ioreg -lw0 | grep -E "product-soc-name|product-description|partially-occluded-display"
