Not sure what color gamut i should use or if there is motion settings i should turn off. I know most of those options are on the tvs but wondering if I've missed anything. Are there android apps that force 8 bit with not FRC or temporal dithering.
I'm still not 100% sure what my issue is as my two old tvs flicker and a new flicker free at any brightness messed me up.
I didn't know about FRC or dithering at that stage and wished I could have tested before returning the tv. I've got my lounge room tv to a stage where it doesn't kill me, still not as comfortable as my old tech but soon as I connected the shield it was bad.
Any current market tvs that are eye friendly with no pwm or color dithering? What should I look for 8 bit native panels no frc?
I'm very new and lost, I've been reading for hours and fallen down a rabbit hole.
My LG 34gn850-b ultragear 160hz ultrawide has been a dream on my eyes. And my S23 ultra phone oled doesn't bother me. But any tv post 2010 has been an issue.
Only discovered this issue a few months ago.
