I might've said this elsewhere on this forum, but as far as I'm aware it's unknown where displayspecifications.com supposedly sources the "information" they display. So I wouldn't place trust into it.

JTL yeah, when researching panels, this one tends to have fairly inconsistent info compared to original datasheets. Of course, datasheets can be hard to find, especially for older panels or certain manufacturers. But I’d still lean on Panelook a bit more. Their data seems a bit more reliable between the two, and they offer datasheet downloads (though paid, of course).

The real panel is 8bit, bit the manufacturer reply is 🇦

The reason why you are experiencing dithering on this model is that it's a 6 + 2 FRC bit color depth panel.

To avoid this you need an 8 bit or 10 bit color panale without FRC.
