Peter Just got a Dell XPS 17 with EyeSafe. I should caution that I am not the best reviewer because my symptoms are more mild than most people on this forum. Still, I have tried many screens looking for the right one for me, and I think I found it. For my eyes, this panel is the best I've ever used (the only one that was close was the surprisingly cheap Acer Swift 1 14"). I have the non-touch panel option (better glare resistance) and Intel UHD graphics (NVIDIA is an option btw) and I updated it to the latest Intel drivers. Glare resistance is decent, but not too extreme so as to keep text sharp. Speaking of that, I find anything between 100% and 200% Windows scaling makes things blurry, but 200% works great. No PWM, although some may want to be able to go dimmer (at the bright end it is usable in direct sunlight and is bright enough to handle any add-on covers or computer glasses). I don't know much about temporal dithering (a lot of conflicting information on the Internet it seems) and not sure if this does it. There does seem to be some kind of dynamic technology (could even be in the panel as suggested by some advertising) because I notice if I have a dark screen and then pull up a bright window it might flicker and adjust color/brightness for about 10 seconds, but I seldom notice this. With a few other setting tweaks, this panel is amazingly easy on my eyes. I would suggest that someone with more severe issues give the new XPS 17 (or other Dell EyeSafe options) a try.
