NewDwarf Hunter20 I only can say that MBP M4 14'' has 15 kHz PWM which is activated at 8+ brightness bars. Regarding MBA's. I had it. Indeed, it doesn't have PWM but it has weird 60 Hz flickering. I was not able to use MBA M3.

AshX NewDwarf Is it possible for you to take video showing that PWM is actually nonexistent below that 8 bar brightness? This is the first many of us are hearing of it. Most of the testing we’ve seen shows it constantly present at all brightness levels. Since you had a similar experience to myself and others - the low frequency flicker of the Airs is a dealbreaker - I wonder if the variable promotion refresh rate is what is making the difference? Some of us can use certain OLED iPhones with PWM, so perhaps the frequency and modulation just doesn’t bother you? If so, fantastic.
