Any idea why one of my monitors, an IPS, gives the appearance of flicker on some images, such as on news articles? I moved the window to my VA monitor and it is stable there. Then I took out a phone and viewed the afflicted screen with the video function and yet there it looks stable. I wonder why I clearly feel the images are flickering somehow on this screen and I get relief and image stability when I move the window to the other monitor, which is a VA.
The affected monitor is quite old to be sure, but as I say I see nothing problematic when viewing the screen with a phone.
To be clearer, both screens have some kind of polarization noise that is very visible on the phone, but I suppose that must be completely normal. I can see how screens can drive people crazy once looking more closely and being more conscious about what one is viewing.
