I doubt this will do anything like JTL said it's a niche issue. I suspect it will become a little less niche as time goes on and more people are introduced to a barrage of LED light etc. in their life with no alternative but for now especially nobody is going to care.
I have stockpiled halogen bulbs like a nutjob preparing for an LEDpocalypse. I have at this point more than I'll need in my life most likely. There are LED lights that don't bother me though. There's very few I've found that are fine but warmer ones with zero flicker tend to be okay. I use 8 in my kitchen and I can stay in there for hours.
It seems most here are only bothered by LED and not CFL lights. I bring this up because there's people who are unable to handle CFL and are now very happy LED has become the norm but nobody cared about those guys before either. Though, it has never been as big of a problem as now. Governments banning lights and telling me what I can use in my own home is insane.
You will most likely be able to find halogen/incandescent for many years to come because they have more uses than just lighting up a room and they're pennies to make.
