However, subjects in the eINK groups could more easily meet their reading requirements without frequent blinking because the eINK screen did not statistically significantly impair the stability of the tear film."
"In conclusion, continuous reading on OLED smartphone screens can cause ocular surface disorder and obvious subjective discomfort."
That ocular surface disorder is why no screen will feel good while the eyes are damaged from OLED. There needs to be a healing period.
