Flickering detected on grey wallpaper wiith a flicker free monitor

Hello guys I'm trying to understand why on grey wallpaper I see bands scrolling fast ?
The monitor is flicker free.
I use the camera on smartphone 1/4000 iso 3200 to capture this video

I use the Eizo Monitor test on gradient (grey 75% or lower)

Using the Opple lightmaster on that image, it doesn't show any flickering

Can you record in 240 fps slow motion as well? What computer is connected to this monitor?

Aquila If it was BenQ I'd that that this looks like black image insertion, commonly used on BenQ XL2546K with "DyAc" feature / strobing. But these are EIZO Displays. So I guess it could be also PWM related which 100% brightness might fix.

Hello, the monitor is an Hp X27i. I don't get strain using this monitor, but I use the Eizo app only to show that grey (you can set starting from 75% to 25%).

If you’re not having issues then I wouldn’t go looking for issues. This seems similar to the gray color flicker on Macs, which seems to be a PWM-FRC-like compensation for gray tones as they are the most difficult to display. This rolling effect seems much less intense than the examples I’ve found on various Macs, so it’s probably a non-issue for you.

Aquila Yea makes more sense now. Adjust framerate of camera to the framerate of display. You might have rolling shutter effect
