"Looking back, i realized OLED is an extremely unsave and crazy technology and its just like with big pharma: follow the money, this is in no way save or meant for humans long term. People make it up like "Oh its not so many people" - how come i found four youtubers with the same problem reporting about it? It's not a minority.
What happens in 1,2,3 years after looking at OLED? Its totally crazy. I never experienced this with even CRT.
What can you do to recover this ? I think some might have experienced the same.
Ever since i used QD OLED for 6 weeks trying to push through the strain i finally sent it back. IKt gave me terrible strain, migraines and this weird feeling when i left the screen, almost like my brain was slightly fried. The 360hz and responsetimes/sharpness/colors felt addicitng when playing, i also never played so "good". Like an alcoholic i drank the vodka.
Just two days later after returning it, i feel like my eyes feel kind of "hurt" - im worried. Did i do damage? I used the screen for about 500 hours (or more) and suddenly all lights seem to bother me. I think many people experienced the same issue, it also appeared while i was still using QD OLED."

And here's an interesting comment in the replies:
"Oled phone screens are pure evil, it's not just PWM either IMO. Recently my ips lcd phone broke and I was forced to go back to my S23 ultra for one evening. I used it on full brightness with a third party screen dimmer app and it made my eyes unbelievably dry and strained within hours. It also gave me blurred vision in my right eye for days afterwards. I have an astigmatism in that eye which I believe makes it even more vulnerable to OLED screens. Having said that I can tolerate my LG C4 OLED TV if watched at an appropriate distance with all the motion settings turned off and the pixel brightness turned down to anything less than 20.
Does anybody know why OLED phone screens still cause symptoms even when technically PWM isn't active whilst using 100% screen brightness with a third party dimming app?"
Elsewhere, the same person said:
"WOLED is not better than QDOLED. Id say its only better in terms of its more "tolerable" when you sit in front of it but after a couple days the eyes just hurt, vision hurts, you get more sensitive to any screen. Its a weird pain. My girlfriend is not sensitive to anything and she had THE EXACT SAME issues, her eyes hurt like hell after using the WOLED for a couple days, we actually talked about it, i thought its from the OLED and she said its a maybe at best but she NEVER had the issue before. Now after the OLED is returned, she no longer has the issue.
Do you think OLED will ever be "save" for us? I loved the WOLED for its clarity and speed but it was hurting my eyes on a level that i can hardly describe."
And:
"how was the eye strain for you? for me it was the worst eye strain that i ever had and i really had no issues before with any display. it actually increased my strain for a couple month after returning it. i really wanted to keep the OLED. is the 1080p native?"
One replied:
"Same for me, started within minutes of using the display. Almost like my eyes were burning, and headache. As soon as I stopped using it, I started feeling better almost right away."
