If you're PWM-sensitive, trust your symptoms. Flicker that your eyes can’t see can still mess with your nervous system. Don’t just “push through it” — prioritize your health and comfort.

I close my MacBookPro M3 screen at around 18:00, because seeing that OLED screen only for a few seconds after 18:00 prevents me from sleeping.
Then another thing that happened to me a few nights ago. There was a situation during the night that I had to use my phone for like 5-10 minutes. I knew it was going to be had, but there was no way around it. After being done and had put the phone away, I closed my eyes. And it was like a stroboscope was inside my eye balls. It was like my brain was filling in to compensate for the flickering. It took minutes to fade out and I slept bad after that.
