I've had people insist to me that they need LCD, not OLED, for their heavy phone usage needs.
2 things I notice on LCD:
the colors somehow look more appealing to me (more natural), but more importantly there is zero flicker to record when using the camera system of another phone, regardless of brightness level.
Any thoughts on LCD being more appropriate for heavier users?
Some have told me they simply won't compromise because of how much they use their phones, so in their minds they need LCD. Incidentally, most of the better phone hardware comes with OLED screens. I use an enterprise-grade XP Pro for the unique combination of a high quality LCD screen backed by a powerhouse chipset. This phone is favored by high-performance field professionals of all kinds.
Regarding my comment on the colors, I have the phones displaying the same blue content now. Only the LCDs make me feel like I do when looking at the colors of a sky. What I mean is that there is something primordially correct about the blue the LCDs are displaying. When I look at the skies, the coloration often makes me feel warm and in awe, like the colors I am viewing are exactly correct for my organism. That's what I notice more on LCD vs OLED. OLED by contrast is like from another world?
