Dear all,
I have used 3 tripple Dell U2311 screens for ages, without any issues. Recently I bought one msi mag401qr and got eyestrain issues after 5 minutes of using it. I tried everything, from changing the colors, brightness, etc. In the end i had to return the monitor. I'm aware with dry eyes, and also VR gaming has becoming an issue (in the past it was just fine). I already went to my local hospital to investigate my eyes, but that is basicly fine, expect from sometimes dry eyes.
I'm currently building a racing sim, and I'm really afraid of buying the one screens (which casus eyestrains). But a good response from the screen is important, so I asked Chatgpt to recommand me 3x32inch screens with my eye conditions.
He recommanded me two IIyama screens, the business model (XB3270QSU) and the Iiyama G-Master GB3271QSU-B. The business model is basicly with 100Hz to slow for competitve racing, so the Iiyama G-Master GB3271QSU-B should be my best choice (on paper). What is your experience with these kind of monitors from Iiyama in general, and about this specific model? I want to prevent a failed buy, but i'm really afraid to pull the trigger.
According ChatGPT this model should even be more comfortable for my eyes than my old Dell U2311, but what does ChatGPT knows 😉 ? According ChatGPT the Mag401qr is a nightmare for my eyes (which I agree), but is he right again about the Iiyama G-Master GB3271QSU-B?
Looking forward to your advices.
Kind regards,
Frank
