I was researching phones that could possibly be safer alternatives and while OLED is usually a no-no for many, I am still able to use my iPhone X (on an old IOS) without issue. That leads me to believe that OLED has the capability of being safer on the eyes than the majority of OLEDS we are being sold today.
Here are the highlights that make this phone possibly be worth a look:
- The OLED panel is stated to be true 10 bit
- From 25%-100% brightness, the phone uses DC dimming
- The brightness dip that plagues OLED panels is much lower (as low as 3.89%)
I may end up giving this phone a try. I've heard the OnePlus name around here in the past so I thought I'd mention it.
