I'm writing here to help as much as possible, all people who are suffering from eye-strain-related symptoms and still haven't found a somewhat satisfactory solution…
Of course I cannot promise anything to anyone or take myself responsibility, but I strongly believe that my suggestions below will make things better for most of you.
Everyone else please do the same and write here in few words about what has made a big difference to you. Lets make this less of a conversation and more of an information field for everyone to turn to for general solutions with the highest chance to work for most cases (more or less):
I 've been suffering personally from this situation (eye strain related symptoms) since many, many years, actually more than a decade already... In addition, I've done huge research among many years and at the same time tried a very big amount of products, hardware, software, phones, filters, almost everything that I could find and seemed to me as a possible solution… Thus, I have come to the conclusion that there are some solutions that do not make a small difference like others, but a big or even huge one and which could also work for most people (more or less). Of course there is difference between each case and each person and there is also big difference between "same" type of devices/solutions, so one has to be very careful.
However, these are the main solutions that I have found till now and I believe that they will work, more or less, for most of you:
First of all, regarding the phone (or smartphone): Acording to my experience, the ones that have the highest probability to help a lot in most cases are the E-ink phones.
There are not many out there, but there are enough and quite good. Maybe not as good as the normal phones. Maybe you will be missing the color accuracy, the speed, the refresh rate, the Google Play services, and maybe even more things. But at least you will probably find some peace finally! In most cases, they will reduce the symptoms at a very high rate. For those who don't know, the main E-Ink phones available at the moment are the Hisense E-Ink Smartphones (A5, A7, A9). There are also the Bigme, the Minimal, the Mudita and few more.
Now, regarding the computer, the solutions are also quite simple. First of all, I have realized that the hardware causing the highest amount of symptoms, which is of course also influenced by the software, but it is the most important one, is the computer monitor.
What are you going to do for that?
Very simple. Replace your monitor with an e-ink monitor! However, if you want my opinion, do not use a portable one. You might regret it… The main E-Ink monitors available on the market at the moment, as far as I know are the "Bigme B251", the " Dasung" and the "Mira Pro".
Otherwise, you could also try an RLCD (Reflective LCD) monitor, with much better refresh rate, color accuracy etc., like the "Eazeye 2.0" or one of the "SunVision" models or the new "Hanspree Hybri EcoVision monitor".
Apart from the sbove, there is also the software. Regarding the software, I do not have many solutions to propose you. Nonetheless, according to my experience, the most important part of it is the graphics card. Simply use an old GeForce Kepler graphics card (or the GTX 1660 Super) and specifically one with a Samsung microchip. It might make a really bug difference for you…
Furthermore, the connection cable for the monitor. Using a VGA over an HDMI cable has made not a small, but a very big difference, for me at least. You could also try that… It's cheap and also very easy to test.
Finally, regarding the other hardware of the computer, by which I mean the desktop, the tower, which includes everything except the graphic card:
according to my experience, it's not only what you see, that affects your eyes and your brain or your nervous system, but it is also the frequencies (emf) that are being emitted from the hardware of the computer…which are probably affecting our nervous system… And the issues with the eyes and the head and nerves and all the rest are just the externalization of the problem.
Therefore, in that case, you could try what I have personally tried and has lead to a very big improvement!!! Which is to keep your hardware as far as possible from your body…!And how to do that? Simply buy some long cables, like at least 5 or 10-meter cables, and put your desktop or your computer or your hardware as far as possible from your body. That's all!
I hope that my advise will help as many of you as possible.
I wish the best for all of you.
Be strong. Don't give up.
Happy New Year with health, happiness, love and progress to everyone!!!
